Information we collect
Account: email address, user ID, profile details, session and security records, credit balance, purchases and support messages.
Production: the instructions you write, photos and videos you upload, the images and videos we create for you, creation settings and job status.
Technical: IP address, device and browser data, error and performance data, and basic logs. We may keep these for security, abuse prevention and reliability.
Person photos you upload for Virtual Try-On are saved in the private My Selfies library on your account. You can keep more than one, select one again, choose a default and delete them. Opening a saved photo requires sign-in and a check that the account is yours. When you choose a photo for a creation, the copy that creation needs goes to the generation provider. Deleting a photo from My Selfies does not delete outputs you already made.
How we use information
We use this information to open and protect your account, run creations, show My Gallery and Likes, manage credits and payments, answer support requests, keep the service secure and see whether it is working.
Instructions, references and uploads are used to carry out the creation you asked for, save the result, look into technical problems, apply the safe-use rules and improve the product.
Service providers
We use service providers to run TekPlatform. They handle personal information for us, and only as needed to do their job. The categories are hosting and technical logs, error monitoring, account sign-in, databases and file storage, payment processing, image and video generation, and interpreting the requests, plans and references you send.
We do not store your card number. The payment processor tells us the result of the charge and the records we need to add credits.
A generation provider receives only the instructions and references that creation needs. Service providers may process information in the countries where they operate.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies or local storage may support sessions, security, language preference, checkout continuity and the core experience. Restricting them may affect sign-in, preferences or production features.
If you arrive through a Creator Program partner’s link (tekplatform.ai/?ref=…), a first-party tp_ref cookie is kept for 60 days so that your sign-up can be credited to that partner. It holds only the partner’s handle and the visit date, never an IP address or device details.
When you browse signed out, a first-party tp_visit cookie (2 days) lets us count you once a day, and a tp_src cookie (30 days) remembers where you first came from (for example a search engine, social network or campaign link) until you sign up. Visits are kept only as totals by country and device type; no IP address is stored.
Retention and deletion
Account, credit and purchase records are kept as long as needed for the service, transaction history, fraud prevention and legal duties.
The reference photos and videos you upload into the chat or a creation, Fitting Room results, wardrobe cutouts, My Selfies photos and the videos you make from a Fitting Room result can only be opened through your account; their links do not work for anyone else, and a generation provider only receives a short-lived signed link. The other images and videos you create are stored at unguessable public links; anyone who has the link can open the file. These links are not listed and never appear in Discover unless you share them.
When you delete an item from My Gallery or a chat project, the output file, the text you wrote for it and the references you uploaded for it (unless another item still uses them) are deleted too; only the date, type and cost remain for the credit ledger. You can delete your account under Settings → Account; your gallery, selfies, Fitting Room results, wardrobe and subscription go with it. Backups, security logs, transaction records and caches may persist for reasonable technical or legal periods.
Retention periods:
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Account, credit and payment records | While the account exists; afterwards for the statutory period |
| Images and videos you create | Until you delete them or your account |
| Reference photos and videos you upload | Until you delete the related item or project, or your account |
| My Selfies, Fitting Room results, wardrobe cutouts and videos made from them | Until you delete them or your account |
| Chat projects | Until you delete them or your account |
| Error reports | 90 days |
| Server logs | A few days |
| Rate-limit counters | At most 25 hours; purged regularly |
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.
